I'm a person with many interests - a 'scanner' who 'always scans the horizons' for 'the next big thing' (according to Barbara Sher) or 'multipotentialite' (according to Emilie of Puttylike.com). This is a blog that attempts to keep track of my many interests and projects and learning how to monetize them and have a happy life together with - or in spite of them! :)
This is a challenge because some of my interests are cyclical and some sequential, my life and my moods can be quite unpredictable (and so can my dad or family in general!). Yes, we're renovating.

books/novels/fiction and non-fiction

languages
psychology
emotional intelligence
monetizing my life (don't laugh, I'm fascinated with the many ways people monetize their lives!! conventional and unconventional!)
how things are done
materials and how eco-friendly and zero waste/safely recyclable they are
healthy living
organizing/productivity/time management
Some of these interests are 'dormant' some are more 'active'
And there are always new ones: law
politics
economy (I'd never thought I'd say these lol!!:)
But alas, they are connected to all of the above, pretty much! :)
I am currently not interested in and think I never will be: football, sports (except for the healthy living part, though I still gotta work on the motivation!)
bad toxic practices and products (including making a living from them - and yeah, I know internet is an iffy area!! A LOT of people are online these days though - and personally I've learnt A LOT about eco-friendly living and other COOL things online too, and met some great people!)
So, who knows, eh?? ;)
(I thought the same for my last two interests! lol)
I wasn't actually interested in making money that much until recently. I was 'boycotting' the status quo. And money seemed to be part of the 'problem'.
But it's not the money, it's what you do with it. You can do good things, or bad.
Everybody needs to find own place under the sun somehow. Swimming with the pixies.
Others sometimes don't have much more clue than you, or maybe even less. Nobody's worth more, or less. That's kinda the beauty of it. And the name of this blog reminds me of it (plus all other cool names seemed to be taken:) We're all just learning from each other.
